WHY LET RIVALRY DIVIDE US WHEN SHARING THE SAME PASSION?

For this year’s ICC Men’s T20’s World Cup, Booking.com batted this film over to us at Wave Amsterdam for audio post. The commercial shows cricket fans gathering from around the world and sharing their passion for the sport, rather than being divided by differences. The campaign was set to create a movement that everyone across the globe is invited to be part of, knowing that wherever we go as rivals, we can stay as friends.

Sound design, music edits and mix crafted by our rising star Archie Presley, whose job was to combine the storytelling with the cascade of emotions: from the singing to the debates, from the crowds and commentators through moments of triumph, joy and failure and, most importantly, that overall sense of unity amongst fans. With a strong build-up and an emphasis on the drums and trumpet that set the tone, the viewer is carried through all these different stages. Archie worked his magic by upgrading and adapting the Bollywood style music track that became the centerpiece to this spot.
