Isaac Matus Debuts at Tribeca
Wave NY's Isaac Matus is making his debut at Tribeca Film Festival 2022 with not one, but two short films:
Ñaños
Dir. Emilio Subía
In the heart of Corona, Queens, two Ecuadorian siblings are placed at odds with each other when one reveals a sudden urge to leave their home.
The in-person screening of Naños is sold out, however, it is available for viewing via Tribeca’s At-Home Shorts Pass HERE.
Black Santa
Dir. Travis Wood
Every holiday season, an Atlanta local looks forward to his job working as a mall Santa alongside his son, Otis. But as puberty strikes, this may be their last holiday season as a duo.
Black Santa was created and funded as part of Rising Voices Season 2 from Indeed in partnership with Emmy Award winner Lena Waithe. Director & writer Travis Wood was selected from over 850 applicants to take part and create his film.
Black Santa, along with the rest of Rising Voices Season 2, will be available to view at home beginning at 8pm EST on June 15, 2022 HERE.
